Being thrifty, saving and investing your money
being thrifty is important even for the young investorBeing money smart these days can be very hard especially with all the cool entertainment devices, toys, tools, gadgets, and video games. Many times even when you go out to eat the price of a decent meal now can range at from ten dollars or higher, and most people that are working still get paid the same. Right now things can be very hard especially with the bad economy.investing ideas What can we do? Well I have thought of some ideas of things that you and all your friends and family can do. Most people don't want to change their way of life and eat rice cakes or do something so radical that it becomes uncomfortable. First and foremost though you should get yourself a small car or vehicle that gets at least about 25 miles per gallon in TOWN. Yes 25 miles per gallon in town and on the highway it's preferable to get 30-40 MPG. It is time for people to realize that driving bigger cars is becoming out of style and that gas price WILL eventually go back up again. Second when you go out to eat try to find the meal on the menu that will provide the most food and bulk but at the same time with the lowest price possible for being thrifty and getting the most calories and nutrition. emergency funds are important
Being thrifty for retirement investing and to save for a market strategy
Now I am not saying that you should buy some greasy junk that you don't like just to get more food but instead try to buy something that provides fullness. If your with another person SHARE ONE meal that you get with each other . It's true that a lot of people can't even finish an average American meal at a sit down restaurant. Yet people pay for it anyway instead of sharing it. Worse yet the waiter or waitress takes it and THROWS IT IN THE GARBAGE. investing young is important
Sometimes people like to buy things for entertainment and share it with a family member etc. I recommend buying things for entertainment from EBAY, and PAWN shops. Basically try to spread costs the best you can. Ebay has some very low prices compared to retailers on things that you would normally pat a fortune for. Lastly DO NOT RENT a house but instead buy one since it is actually cheper. Many times the payments on a rented house can be MORE than if you get a loan from the bank and are buying equity into a house. If you are smart you can even buy a house with a basement and rent the basement out all while living in the house yourself.
