economic meltdown - what a bailout will mean investing in stocks and everything else

Sep-26-2008

economic meltdown increases mergers (go here)

Will the bailout plan that congress is debating help or hurt the economy in the long run? Will you be in a better spot down the road? Well after thinking about the plan and analyzing myself and other people's situations I think I have a pretty good idea of what the possibilities are if the bail out goes through congress and is passed.

As with any plan it will hurt some people and help others in the long and short run. The question anyone should be thinking when they pass this is will this bill help more people or hurt more people? So here is my analysis of what will happen if they do or do not bail out these banks and financial institutions. gold investing online

should I be investing in stocks - real estate - index funds or what?

Now that they bailed them out it will be EASIER to get money for a house or business therefor the price of housing will stay I think artificially high and making it easier for it to collapse again even HARDER in the future HOWEVER the future may be close by and banks are still hurting so you will have to to have good credit to buy one. If you do not do anything related to the bail the stock market will crash for a long time. The price of housing will crash as well and people will be losing their mortgages so we can be understanding of why congress passed the bill. about EPS

However the good news is that this financial crisis that we are in will end quicker instead of being drawn out for a long period of time, and the poorer people may have the POTENTIAL of buying houses since they will be much cheaper in price. As you can see there is no easy solution here but there are advantages and disadvantages depending on what will happen. If you have the money right now make sure you think about buying houses and real estate.contrarian investors

However I would be especially careful since I think in the long run the bailout will only make matters worse or stave off the inevitable economic meltdown. If they do not bail these companies out and you have a source of income consider trying to BUY A HOUSE or real estate since it will be VERY CHEAP. Also if they do not bail them out you might consider short selling stocks as well for a while.
