I don't think that there is a better time to invest in real estate except for right now if you have the money. The interest rates are low so if you get a loan it's easier to pay. People are still in need of a place to live and people are moving to Georgia and Florida more and more since there are more economic opportunities there in our recession. You just have to think about where the people in the U.S.A. are going to be moving too next. You should always of course be trying to get a good deal on the real estate that you are buying and RENT it out to generate a monthly income and to have the renters pay the bank off. retiring young


People shouldn't wait in these hard economic times. When people are selling you should be buying, and guess what? When the time is right people will need a place to live and will be BUYING real estate again only this time you will have bought yours for a low price when people were selling. People are trying to sell their homes are asking for lower and lower prices on their houses since they are desperate for the cash. Banks as well are taking low ball offers on the properties they have taken since everyday they have a house or property that isn't sold they are losing money having it.economic meltdown

Since there are so many opportunities out there right now, if you are young and have good credit with a little capital set aside, you might think about investing in apartments. Apartments are working well even in our down economy for two reasons. One people that have lost a home are usually lower on money than they were and need a place to stay.

Two since people have less money apartments are a cheaper options than buying a house. The good investors in real estate know that now is the time to buy. You could finance HUGE apartment complexes and have the renters pay the low interest you get on your loan. Then down the road when real estate is sure to go up since there is less of it all the time you could sell the complex for possibly twice what you paid for it and pay your loan off (just something to think about).
