large cap stocks - investing secrets and articles BELLOW

Large cap stocks are stocks in companies that consist of a large market capital in the stock market. Large cap stocks are usually stocks that have well over 10 billion in market value and are appealing to investors whom feel that larger companies are safer investments.
It is important to note that larger companies can be safer investments but only for the right reasons. You should never invest in a company JUST BECAUSE IT’S BIG. Just look at bear sterns they used to be a really big company and whoever invested in them just because they were big ended up getting the short end of the stick. The times to invest in a big company are when the company has a moat that goes along with their being big. For instance Coke is a big company but unlike other big companies they are hard to compete with in their market because people know Coke and store owners tend to want to store what they know is going to sell on the limited shelf space that they have. It’s also important to remember that unless you owned the entire company and it was given to you; larger companies and small cap stocks actually don’t make as much money for their size compared to their smaller counter parts.
In other words say you have 100 thousand to invest and my company has 20 billion dollars in assets which it then makes 10 million a year net income off of; now compare that to another company that has 100 million in assets and is making 20 million a year net income, which is the better deal for investing your 100 thousand into? The smaller one is a better choice because we are need less assets and money to create the 10 million over the other company in which you would have to invest more to get the same EFFICIENT returns even though it makes double what I make.
