A Market Strategy for low risk investments for income and long term retirement investing

For information on finding low risk investments click here. Basically low risk long term investing happens only when you have 3 things.

1.You know a lot about the company and have done business with them yourself first hand so you know that they won't go out of business anytime soon.2.They have a LARGE market capital of 20 billion or more. 3.They pay a dividend

Okay those are my rules so say you shop at wal-mart a lot and you think that they are a great company that is too strong to die anytime soon. They have a huge market capital and they pay a dividend. This might be a company you would invest in for a long term income and profit. Think about it you know something about this company already since you shop there all the time right? For someone else Costco could be the same way. Have you filled up at a Mobile station lately and do you or do you not like the service you get there? Exxon probably isn't going out of business anytime soon but nobody knows for sure of course. One of the ways that you can tell if they are going bust is simply what YOU KNOW from your own personal experience. We are all HUMAN, so if you find a store or business enjoyable the chances are so will other people BUT NOT ALWAYS. You should think ABOUT GOLD when investing too

What constitues good knowledge of a company for smart stock investing

1.Do you shop there? If so how pleased are you with the prices, service, and selection?

2.Do other customers at the store seemed rushed or annoyed at the place?

3.Does it seem like they are making a profit or just hiring too many people?

4.Have you ever been an employee in the business or company before? If so do they tend to hire good employees? (except for you of course ;)

5.Do you know anything about the upper management team like the CEO?
