Many people think that small cap stocks are deadly and very hard to invest in becasue of the supposed risk that people say that have. This is true to some degree however a lot of small cap stocks have a better chance of succeeding than even big companies. A short glance at what happened to the Auto industry in the U.S. is an example that being big doesn't always mean that are you are better or more efficient! Some of the smallest companies do WELL financially even in a bad economy. Small caps in general have been undervalued - even the strongest ones. An investor must also remember that most of the great companies with think about today all the way from Wal-Mart to Starbucks, to IBM were at one time SMALL CAPITAL companies themselves that simply had a better business plan then their larger competitors.

One of my favorite types of companies on the market are small cap stocks because if you can't make money doing something small then you won't make money at all. Small caps actually have a lot of advantages that bigger business do not.
