Annuities are complex and not suitable for all investors. Carefully consider the risks and possible consequences involved prior to making an investment decision. Guarantees are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuer, and may contain limitations, including surrender charges, which may affect policy values. It is possible to lose money with an Indexed Linked Annuity, as surrender prior to the end of the annuity term could result in a loss. Surrender charges associated with Indexed Annuities may significantly impact liquidity. Some Indexed Annuities impose a monthly limit of the amount by which an investor may participate in the upward performance of the related index, thus further limiting the profit potential of the investment. Some Indexed Annuities do not credit any measure of market participation to the investor until a significant number of years have passed. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
